Our Story
Dumbledairy is an initiative by a young enthusiast and dairy professional who wants to tell stories about milk & dairy products. About how they are made and how you should select the appropriate one for your nutrition.

Let me begin by sharing an interesting story with you today. When I first came to know about "Dairy Technology," the first thing that crossed my mind was, "how come i never thought of something like this would exist?" But then I realized how easily we take the dairy products for granted on our table. From the simple glass of milk, a generous spread of butter on the bread, sprays of whipped cream on the refreshing fruit dish, portions of cheese on our exotic Italian dinner, or the creamy ice cream in the dessert, our lives and diets are filled with milk and dairy products. Yet, we hardly know anything about how and where they are coming from.
When I began my formal education in dairy science, I encountered tons of questions from friends and family. ​​How is the cheese made? Does pouched milk have preservatives? Do they make milk from chemicals in the factories? Which milk should we drink every day? And many more….

If my own friends and family had so many questions, I wondered how many more would be floating in every consumer’s mind. With our increasing collective consciousness towards the quality of food that we are eating, and in the times of social media, where a smallest snippet of uninformed opinion could scare you next time you buy dairy.
